***In this chapter, we will examine why the United States engaged in the policy of Imperialism, what territories the U.S. acquired, who the U.S. competed against for these territories, was the U.S. acting Democratic?, and what finally led the U.S. into the Great War also known as World War I

• Read Chapter 18 - Section 1 (pages 586 - 591)
• Complete 2 handouts
• Finish Section

Wednesday - 1/28

• QUIZ - Chapter 18 - Section 1
• Introduce Section 2

Thursday - 1/29

• Read Chapter 18 - Section 2 (pages 592 - 598)
• Complete 2 handouts

Friday - 1/30

• An Assignment will be due in which I will post that LINK here by Sunday 1/25
• Watching a short film on the Spanish-American War
• REPORT CARDS WILL BE ISSUED
